Originally formed in Texas in 1999, Midlake have had a unique musical journey. Their initial work (under the working name The Cornbread All-Stars) consisted heavily of funk and jazz explorations. Later, the band began to lean more toward an indie rock sound and eventually, Midlake’s signature sound was born. With a fifth studio album releasing in Autumn 2021, this well-established band are set to deliver a truly stunning performance filled with classic folk rhythms, deep basslines and heartfelt lyricism.
